Anybody planning on getting this camera? I've been trying to get into the mirrorless technology but have not found a system I've liked enough yet. Maybe this might be the one. Seems like this has the fastest AF of any mirrorless system. If things go well, I might pick one up when it comes out in mid April.
I guess the reason why we do not see any recent threads about this camera is that there has not been much news about it lately. Hopefully, it will ship soon, and first adopters will report. I am possibly interested in such a camera, athough not in the short term, so I do look forward to hearing their comments.
I had the camera on pre-order but canceled it because I snatched a Canon 5DII for a low price after the 5DIII announcement. But I still kind of excited about it and may add it as a second body later on.

I don't think there is a 'limit' on the number of threads regarding a camera---as an example go to the Nikon forum and check out interest in the D800.
If you don't see it, ask.
While there is no limit, at least in the alt forum, its typical to try to have dedicated threads running, and kept running, rather than everyone starting a new one. We've had Leica, Zeiss and m4/3 image threads running for ages for example. Just makes things a little cleaner/simpler than everyone starting a new thread anytime they shoot an image with a M8/M9/M8.2 and a given new lens for example.
Sort of the very thing that does set this forum apart from the Nikon or Canon forums where everyone does start a new thread as they please.
WTF Cares... A new thread is fine! Sometimes even better!
Anyway, I'm very interested in that camera myself! I never pre-order anything tho. I'll wait for about 4 to 6 months after it's released and then grab it up! Nice styling, great features, typical IQ for a new µ4/3 sensor.
Probably a lot of forum members here care, but I guess you don't give a "F" about any of them, as evident by your statement and especially choice of language.

Have the Nex7 and a GH2, wish either had IBIS for use with MF lenses ... making the EM5 very tempting. I'm so close to pulling the trigger on a body and grip. So, so tempting.

Must be just me but I don't see any other threads in this section (at least not on page 1).
This forum is very active with many threads and many new ones being started, so even big threads that already have a lot of info and discussion can "sink" a couples of pages down from of the first page of the thread index. In this case it has been pretty quiet about the OM-D for a couple of weeks and I don't really remember how if any notably useful stuff was posted in the big threads... no harm in starting a new one I guess.

You must be my evil twin or something
Amen to that statement.
I can't wait to start seeing real photo examples from that camera. Based on specs and studio tests I think it's fantastic (so close to 5DII quality below very high ISOs) and I happen to like that form factor too. One thing that sets me back though is the lack of good video modes and heavy video compression. (Yes, I use video mode on my NEX-5N all the time.)
Got a body/grips(both pieces) on order, will probably also grab a 45mm lens as well. I have heard delivery rumours from early to mid April. Heading down to Utah for a glamour workshop in early May. Could be persuaded to share my exploration of skin-tones and red rocks. Hey, Bifurcator, always liked your posts.
