I just got the D800 in hand and I will be evaluating the Nikon 85mm f1.8G and the Sigma 85mm f1.4. Depending on the outcome, I will put up one of them on the B&S in a few days.

I could sell you one. I got it from Amazon last week, used it for a couple hundred frames at a wedding on Saturday, and it worked wonderfully. Absolutely zero complaints, BUT it offered nothing over the Sigma 85 I already have except lighter weight. I was going to ship it back to Amazon today, but I can ship it to you instead if you want to pay full price. I am waiting too and am thinking it will be like the end of April before I even get a whiff of one. Starting to consider the Sigma or even the Rokinon because I can have either by Monday...

I'm also waiting on my pre-order through amazon. I really hope I can get it sometime in the next month, but the wait is killing me after seeing all the pics taken with it.

dude the reason it is better ... is because it is weather sealed!
I already used mine in a rainstorm and it functioned 100%
