This morning my boyfriend and I got up early to try taking some photos at a wildlife refuge that's about 30 minutes away. I handed over the 7D and 70-200 2.8 IS II - last time we went to try for wildlife, I had that combo - it's only fair to trade off! I don't really have another lens suitable for bird/wildlife photos...I grabbed the 1D3 and my 85L, since it's the next longest lens that I've got.

I really didn't expect much, but by some miracle I managed to get a few shots that aren't completely oof. Thanks for looking!

I like # 3 beat.

However, I would crop it somewhat.You should play with the crop and don't feel that you cut too much out.
