I have to say to the OP....that is the best brick wall shot I've ever seen. This camera's resolution is simply stunning. My 5D3 cowers in the corner when it sees me browsing the D800 threads.

I use the Imagenomic Noiseware plug-in for Photoshop.

I photographed a proposal yesterday and the camera's resolution was perfect for this shoot. I had to be far back and didn't want to invest in an teleconverter, so I cropped a full 36 MP image down 30% and thus turned my 70-200 VRII into a 320mm. It was very helpful.
