Nice to have home internet back up and running, I was almost out of my mobile data allotment from tethering

A quicky with the XE1 and adapted Minolta 35-70

^ Is that intentional? Seems incredibly dark, I'm not sure what the subject is?

Beautiful "Styrofoam" shot, Helena. That may be my favorite photo that I've seen on any alt gear thread. Just really, really great.

It seems like there's no shortage of interesting/weird things to shoot in Norway!

Yes, it's a long exposure. The subject is the firefly which leaves those little dots in the center of the frame.

This thread is so inspiring!

Here's one from my "We Are Human" project....not exactly an original idea, but still quite stimulating!
On an unrelated note, I've gotten into the film world much more seriously lately. Any tips for a new Bronica ETRS user? (I've got the 75mm EII and 150mm MC lenses) *Sorry for the side tangent*

I really like the muted colors and limited contrast, it's stunning, care to share the processing recipe?

Hey Chris, thanks a bunch!
Well, first I used a custom preset in Exposure 3 (a heavy modification of one of the "fading" presets) set to 40% opacity to lower the highlight contrast.

From there, an orange-ish filter layer to pump up the golden hour light streaming through the windows.

Then a curves layer to push up the midtones, a little dodging on her face/eyes,
and finally a very light sharpening layer. (masked for the detail areas only)

All in all, maybe a half hour's worth of dithering. Though I would've been done in ten if I'd been more sure of myself!

Thanks for sharing! I always find it fascinating to read about how people approach a shots post production and their method behind it! Keep posting! Oh and enjoy the film stuff!
