Found out why I've been partially unhappy with my XT2 files -- my camera underexposes by about 2/3 of a stop (annoying) and I just wasn't paying attention to the histogram and boosting exposure in post. Bah!
Anyway, took a short trip up to Angel Fire and Taos, NM. Beautiful area, though we totally missed the fall colors. We stayed in our travel trailer for 3 nights just to do something 'different' for Thanksgiving

I'm sure you checked the EX comp dial
I did that one day and didn't notice

Thanks Reagan I wish it was that legitimate . No I guess my camera is protective of highlights in matrix metering mode and since my EVF gets bright I don't notice. Some of my files I've been pushing 1.5 stops or so. That doesn't help when I was already shooting at ISO 400
Ah well I have a permanent 2/3 dialed in and it's exposing as it should be.
I really, really like this image (also commented on your Flickr), as with some of your others. Would love to know how you colour grade this one, and also the bar tender image. Great stuff!
