p.54 #1 · Fujifilm X-Pro1 & XE-1 Image Thread

I am not proud of this image, but it is the first image that I have taken in difficult dusk/sunset light in January right down my street with my new Fuji X-E1 with the Leica 35-70 f4 Vario Elmar lens. I am not sure if anyone has yet uploaded an image with any Leica R lenses to this point. ISO set to 200 and image processed from RAW file in LR4.3.

Seriously try Silky Pix 5 or Capture Pro1, you'll be amazed.

I expect to. But, I have to try both and there will probably be a learning curve. I have at least some experience working with LR4.3. By the way, do you have a preference for Silkypix 5 or Caprture One 7? I posted a thread which has had little response regarding the results and ins and outs of both programs.

I just came back from a studio session - the output is great (especially in Astia), but the biggest annoyance is that I tend to shoot 0% ambient in the studio and the AF will occasionally have a hard time locking on. It's not really the camera's fault - I just have to shoot with the modeling light on.
