good to know. it is an interesting choice as you can pick up a used 18-55 and 55-200 for essentially the same price as 18-135. Of course neither 18-55 nor 55-200 is weatherproof........
Weatherproofing is the only significant difference. I bought the 18-135 primarily for that reason as I have an upcoming tour in Colorado and wanted the coverage "in the event". However, after testing it I was unimpressed having expected it to be the IQ counterpart of the 10-24 (an absolutely excellent lens) which it wasn't. In fact, I find the 18-55 to be superior, with the 18-135, at best, equal to 55-200. I returned it and will make due with what I have (the above zooms and a good number of primes). This is the first instance I have experienced any disappointment in a Fuji X product.
