So the shutter on my X-PRO1 got stuck, and the 2 year warranty was out. However Fuji replaced the "mount assembly" without charge, (should it not be shutter assembly?), and they checked the sensor for alignment, cleaned it and the viewfinder, checked shutter times, white balance etc - a long list with checked items. So I am pleased with their service
This is the stuff that makes me feel good. I really hope Fuji succeeds with this system. I'm super heavily invested, of course, but aside from that, they're doing so much right on the customer side of things, and have grown from a clunky brick of a camera with so many flaws you couldn't count them all with the original X-Pro 1...have remedied the VAST majority of issues on that camera through firmware updates, while addressing almost all the concerns in later releases, such that the X-T1 is simply a brilliant camera through and through. Along with the lens lineup, which is simply fantastic. Hope more than just a select few start to see what they're doing and dive in.
