Thanks Helena! Here are a few from yesterday with the 14mm. Just a walk around town. Pretty much SOOC. I'm amazed at how little processing I need to do. Added a touch of sharpening and that's about it.

Very nice! I especially like the first one. More than a little creepy. It looks like she has no head and that those hands don't belong to her.

Yes, I too am impressed by how nice the photos usually look straight out of camera. For me it makes the post processing more enjoyable, when I can go almost straight to the creative editing and don't have to start with correcting things.

After have done some night photography last week I got disappointed with how X-A1 and the 14mm handles bright lights, but overall I'm very happy with the kit (and I can use little GR for those specific situations). So, even though I don't want to jump in too deep right now I decided to use the substantial rebates and get both the 50-230 and 35/1.4. I didn't plan to get the 35mm, it's just too cheap to resist and I already have a buyer for it if it doesn't work out.

I picked up the 35/1.4 just yesterday. The colors are fantastic. I'm loving the X-T1 and it's made me go full bore into the Fuji system. I have quickly acquired the 14, 23, 35 and 55-200. I have had more fun shooting this camera than any other in a long time. I love my Sony A7r but I can't seem to put the X-T1 down!

Here are some first 35/1.4 images from yesterday.

Surely will break down and buy the 56/1.2 sooner or later, but rather enjoying the 60/2.4 (and its close focus ability) in the meantime

The 60 is a great lens. If I have problems with my third 56/1.2 that I get this coming week, I may just hold off and wait until they get production under control before trying again. Optically, it's worth it, but I could deal with the 60 for a little while longer to ensure I get a quality built item.

I plan on keeping my 60/2.4 regardless, as it's rather small, produces wonderful images and is quite versatile.

Ian - love the portrait with the 35/1.4. I just got mine yesterday and I can't believe how good a lens it is.

Went with my son and his dogs to a park where we hiked for a couple of hours. It was 60F today (finally) but there's a lot of snow still to melt.

This is my first post here. I just picked up the XT1 and am learning my way around it. I have always shot RAW but am really liking the Fuji Jpegs. I find the continuous focus to work well with the 55-200 and my daughter who is always on the move.

I sold all my Nikon bodies and my auto focus Nikon glass, including the best lens I ever owned, the 14-24mm f/2.8. Kept all my old legacy manual focus glass and couldn't be happier.

Nice Graham. I did much the same thing when I had an XE1. Which adapter are you using? Oh, and congratulations!

Thanks.... I have two Kipon adapters; the first was one with an aperture ring for the Nikon G lenses, but I hated it; terrible control of the aperture and a weird action to it. I then got a plain old "dumb" Kipon adapter and that's far better and works flawlessly with my old Nikon glass.

At the moment, I have the following lenses:

Nikon 20mm Ai-S f/3.5
Nikon 50mm Ai-S f/1.2
Nikon 85mm Ai-S f/2.0
Nikon 105mm pre-Ai f/2.5
Nikon 105mm Ai-S Micro f/2.8
Nikon 135mm pre-Ai f/3.5

SOLD the 135mm Ai-S f/2.0, because it didn't gain me much over the other 135mm lens and was substantially bigger and heavier.

All of them work brilliantly on the X-Pro1, especially great when you use focus peaking to really nail the focus.

Cheers.

Yup, that was my feeling as well with the XE1. Wish I never sold it. Thinking about getting another one.
