So if you set your Q menu to low contrast (film simulation Ns, highlight tone -2, shadow tone -2) things improve a fair bit.
Problem with doing that of course is that then you get a shitty low contrast jpeg out of the camera, but if you can live with that then the EVF becomes much more usable even in bright daylight.
Not OVF good, but usable.
thanks for that Spyro, I will try it out. If it doesn't affect the RAW, that is ok. I don't need the JPG.
