I don't notice this, but I shoot RAW.

The Fuji JPEG's are definitely more blue than RAWs are in LR, but I don't think this is a blue cast so much as LR/ACR washing out the blues.

Note that the Standard JPEG processing is based on Provia, which always tended towards kicking the blues. Vivid/Velvia should on the other hand push the greens and Soft/Astia the light reds.

goldjim, if it's consistent and you want to continue with JPGs you can adjust your Auto White Balance slightly towards yellow. On X-A1 you press the WB button, choose Auto, press WB again and you get to a color grid you can shift in various directions. Should be similar on other X cameras.

Can any jpeg shooters chime in on the blue cast?

Another with X-A1 and 16-50 (that lens is surprisingly decent!):

Auto WB? It has a blue cast to it on most cameras.

Not on my Canon cameras.

That hasn't been the case in my experience. At any rate, if you care about avoiding color casts in JPEG, auto white balance seems like a bad idea.

That's really interesting, must of been freezing with a good deal of wind or something.

I'll have to run over tomorrow morning and check it out, hopefully stayed cold enough today that it didn't melt

Hello everyone - a new member (longtime reader) here.

This picture is taken with the X-T1 and the 35 mm 1.4.

Short comments on the X-T1.
The EVF is really as good as they say. My previous camera was an X-E2 (with the same amount of pixels in the EVF), but the X-T1 is a completely different experience. The EVF is better than the Sony A7, which, to me, has more of a cheap videocamera-ish look.
The X-T1 feels slightly more responsive than the X-E2 - and slightly more quiet, which I appreciate.

The buttons are weather sealed, but - in a classic case of Fuji gives, Fuji takes away - they are so shallow that they are almost impossible to press, including the four way controller and the scroll wheel on the back (the one on the front is OK). And the shutter button on my camera is loose and rattles. Well, no camera is perfect.

Some from very early this morning. I'd have preferred to shoot these about an hour later, when the predawn color would have entered the sky, but I needed to get into work. Oh well. X-T1 with 14/2.8 and 23/1.4:

I am curious as to how a Zeiss 135/2 F mount lens plays on an X body. I have longed for that lens and plan to pull the trigger quite soon. Inasmuch as I will ultimately transition entirely to the Fuji X system from Nikon, the compatibility of that lens is most relevant in my decision making process. I have order the Metabones adapter (not the Speedbooster) to accommodate my many F-mount lenses. Any help would be appreciated.
