^^ Hehe.

To be fair, it was RAW + Aperture = funky-foliageproof! I also just got a Lambda print @ 60cm x 90cm, of a closeup of a Japanese maple leaf, handheld @ f/2.8 with the 60mm, that looks spectacular. I'm surprised by how good it looks.

If I could get 24mp and DSLR-speed AF in one-shot... I'd totally switch.

First days with the 55..200mm. I'm really amazed by the contrast transmission and sharpness under very adverse conditions without lenshood.

Fuji X-E2, 55mm, f8, ISO200, 1/350s, CaptureOne Pro 7.1.6

100% crop

100% crop from PhotoNinja 1.2.1, 2 click conversion giving more realistic colors

Hi Justruss,

You surely finished the hike in the Bräustüberl, the famous beer hall at the castle of Tegernsee

Since I haven't been able to post much lately (been very sick, haven't edited much of anything since mid November) figured it was long overdue.

Half of these were taken with the Nikkor 50/1.4 K and the other half with the Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 2/58 on the Fuji XE1.

Played around with some presets on some as well. Let me know what you think.

Nikkor 50 with M2 extension tube.

Hardest image I have had to edit. So much banding in little places here and there. Totally confused Lightroom when trying to "get it right"

This is fantastic! At first glance it looked like an aerial shot of farmland with massive sprinklers on. It looks like a full landscape at a totally different scale than a puddle. Love it.

OT: BokehBeauty-- no, skipped the stuberl. After a couple years here in Minga, and it not being summer, I'm feeling a little over-helles-ed. Thankfully we have Red Hot Munich and the Taphouse now serving IPAs and other non-Bavarian varieties.

Thanks Mike.

Here's another from earlier that evening and a slightly different vantage point, this time using a handrail on the stairs leading up to the National Gallery as support and my iPhone to raise the lens a tad so the handrail wasn't too intrusive.

Very nice pictures in here! Rob-O, the trafalgar picture is stunning!

Below are some shots from today, we've been to a farm with the little one.
I used a Konica UC Hexanon 28mm F1.8, a modified Lens Turbo, and a X-E1:

Couple randoms from the last few months.

Although the EXIF is incorrect, the lenses used are Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 2/58 (first image) and the second two are from the A. Schacht Ulm Travenar 135/3.5.

Perfect timing. There was a fire about a quarter mile away, darkened the clouds and the setting sun illuminated the underside of the smokey clouds. The shot lasted for maybe a minute before the smoke rolled through the park and we had to leave.
