Hi jkspepper,
This image is gorgeous. I like the light, contrast, colors and the composition.
I saw that you shot the same scene with different cameras and different lenses and show it in different forums here. This one is by far the most attracting to me. The perspective of the 14mm, the light and the warm colors of the city vs. the sky do it for me - and the little airplane eye distractor. I can only see these colors in this image. Would some kind of comparative presentation make sense to spark discussion?

Thanks for the kind words, I had thought of that idea slightly ahead of you and have posted it in the "City, Street and Architecture" forum here. I thought it would be a good idea to get some feedback on people's preference.

Thanks a lot for all the tipps and suggestions. I got a new X-M1 with the kit lens for my wife. Let's see, how she can use it without the iA button and without landscape mode ...

I've had the X-E1 for a while. Just started adapting my Oly's to it. I LOVE IT!

The 35/1.4 is still the best though.

Anyone who has the XF23mm: does the focus motor sound kind of rough / gritty? Seemingly today my lens was sounding kind of rough while focusing but admittedly my camera bag did fall off my shoulder and hit the ground with my x-pro and lenses so I'm wondering If something may have been knocked out of alignment.

Can't say that my 23mm sounds any more/different than my 35mm. Hope your lens is all right!

Not posted much recently, luckily I managed to get a day out in London yesterday.
The tide on the river Thames was out so much we were able to walk along the riverbed for a while.

It's a cool place to explore.

Nice pictures and interesting to see the amount of brick mixed with other stone.
