Gorgeous! I've been to Morro Bay once, in the evening. Got some good shots.

Thank you, Jman13 (and Rob_O). Photographically speaking, it's hard to go wrong at Morro Bay.

This is a teaser from Sunday.

Family Fun - Muttart by Camtography, on Flickr

Did a family shoot, taken with the 35mm wide open. And with the new firmware update I had no issues locking onto my subjects. It actually worked well shooting kids!

Also, I just got a hold of the Helios 58mm F2.0, not bad but with the peeking I found it difficult to shoot people, but it's really enjoyable to use none the less.

Edit: I ordered the Nikon 105 2.5 non AI as well because I can't afford the 55-200...yet!

I love how that little hand is stretching up and grabbing the ledge, didn't catch it the first time I looked at the picture! I kinda wish the mom(?) was cropped out, or placed more into the frame though. Overall a good picture wich I bet will be valued in the future.

Jochen, welcome back! That's really beautiful. Great tones.
Rob_O, very nice set from Vienna, especially the third. Great colors and processing in all.
Oldraven, that's beautiful.
Camtography, cute! I agree with everything jshalvorsen wrote.

Back from three days in Sweden. Fantastic weather for being out, but not so good for photography (not a cloud in the sky most of the time), so I didn't take many landscapes. Found a nice abandoned farm house though where the bright sunlight worked well.

X-E1 and Fuji 14mm as usual. This lens amazing and have very little distortion (if any). Nice straight lines. Of course it can cause normal wide angle distortion though, as can be seen in #2 and 3. The windows weren't this wide in real life. However, I wanted to take in all of the scenes and the rooms were small, so it couldn't be avoided. Maybe stitching would have worked, but I have tried that in small rooms before and it's really difficult and takes a lot of time, which I didn't have here.

Welcome Sceptic! Interesting shots with your Vivitar, especially #2. I used to have that lens for my Nikon D7000 and it renders exactly the same on that camera (in fact, I have or had a *very* similar shot of the same type of flower as you posted) Your flowers had a "look" to them hard to describe, and I wasn't surprised at all when I saw the lens!

Thank you! Yes, it truly is as good as the online reviews make it out to be. The combination of sharpness and smooth bokeh is hard not to like; tank-like build is just icing on the cake.

Thank you so much for the suggestion. I never considered cropping the image, but you are right! I love this thread so much hehe.
