Beloved country where I grew up, Oberschwaben, at the best time of the year. It's in the very south of Germany west of Bavaria.

I really like this photo, maybe a touch more contrast and maybe a bit more clarity on the trees in the background and I would print and hang it !

tjpenton, thank you. I may find time on the weekend to improve. I like, however, the smoothness that is possible with Fujifilm files, while being sharp. Therefore I'm very reluctant to use the clarity slider in Lightroom. May be selective editing will give the best of both worlds.

Abram nice cat, beautiful conversion. Love the tones in the statues.
Thanks Helena. I love the second one. I have seen images of that place before, I think on pBase - very interesting.
Cool fisheye shot Jman!
MagicNikon nice use of the Lensbaby. Thanks for reminding me to use mine sometimes!
BokehBeauty lovely image. I agree about clarity. I use it very little with Fuji lenses.
John love the cows!

A few with Lensbaby Composer:

MagicNikon, great flower shots with the lensbaby. It makes me want to get one, but I hate the price of them. If they were cheaper it would be a lot more user friendly. What lens module are you using?

Great shots everyone, love checking this thread out.

Alan

Some with the Rokinon 8mm fisheye. This is the first time I've taken it out (I did take it out on Monday, but that was a bad copy with a misaligned element). It is a SHARP fisheye. VERY sharp. Surprisingly sharp, all the way to the corners. Great color response and resistance to flare as well. Just set it at 3-6 feet, f/8 and shoot! I also really like the near stereographic projection. It feels a little more natural.

Some lightnin' (single volley btw, and my only keeper tonight)

@ Jordan yeah that Rok looks pretty nice, looks like it performs just as well as the m43/7.5mm, maybe even a little better. I had it before in either FF or APS-C, can't remember which mount, and it is a keeper if one is into the fish look, or even de-fished. I might eventually get it again, but I've got other things to get first.

Hmmmm is it me or are these cameras are amazing for potraits with shallow depth of field of up to 5m, i think DSLR standards!!! However, landscapes at infinity somehow seem to lack micro-contrast and the subjects seem a little jaggity (for lack of better word) It just doesnt "pop" for landscapes
