Here is a 67% crop (100% would be to wrinkly) from a snapshot I took earlier this evening of a elderly woman. I must say I like the focus roll-off and bokeh of the XF 35/1.4 lens.

(IQ a bit bad due to the camera was at aperture priority, and underexposed abot 1 stop, and got the white balance wrong - this was my fault, I was working to fast, she was in the shade, whereas most of the scene was in full sunlight (out of frame), but I thought this pic shows the quality of the lens and sensor)

Am I missing the option to set the auto ISO min shutter speed?

The aperture clacking on the 35/1.4 is mighty annoying.

Another annoyance I just realized. If you set shutter and aperture manually, the auto-ISO is unaffected by any setting to the exposure compensation dial.

XP1 at my grandfather's 88th birthday, then a friend's daughter decided to mug for the camera. Her mother hates it... so of course I'm getting a 20x30 made at Costco this weekend.

Pretty much OOC, cropped and the B&Ws have been adjusted for contrast, in-camera B&W is always too muddy for my taste. On my monitor the first one looks nice and low-key, but I suspect it might be dark on others?

There is something strange about the color palette on the whole sample page. I can't put my finger on it but colors seem a bit off, especially on the outdoor shots and the reds, possibly the blues too.

Skin tone on the last shot looks fine though.

I just received mine yesterday and did a few test shots. You definitely notice the "quirkiness" of the body but at the same time I can see why people have said it's fun to shoot with. Until I can find something that will let me view the raw files on my Mac I cannot pass judgment on IQ.

The included raw converter EX/ Silkypix works on the Mac. Just open the CD and double click the separate installer for it - not the main installer which is ridiculously PowerPC only.

Supported in Lion? Everything I looked at on the CD gave me the PowerPC error (meaning no Lion support). I'll look again.

Yes, I installed it off the cd onto Lion. The trick is not to use the main, overall installer which is only PowerPC compatible but to use the individual installer only for the raw program. Just double click the CD to open it and see the various installers.
