This is about 60% crop, SOOC JPEG cropped and reduced in size with NX2:

The lens is the old 180/2.8 AF-D at f4 if I remember right...

D800 is a huge improvements... I loved very much my D700 but I'll cry if I'll go back to it after today'ß experience with D800.

Jorge, have mercy man! That bokeh on the wine shot is gorgeous. I'm still trying to figure out how to get my paws on the D800e, and you are killing me with shots like that.

I know that some lenses make the D800 sing... but the good news is that the beast takes the juice even from old good Nikkors. I did a brief test with my 30+ yrs old 55/1.2 AI keeping it at ISO100 (indoor) with the help of a speedlight in a softbox and from f1.2 to f11 images look pretty nice... nothing to scary at least. Also high ISO images are impressive.
