Nice detail in the first, though the lighting looks pretty harsh. No.2 is the pick for me.

Fine set of rose Charlie! I really like the last one. It isn't easy to have multiple blooms like that in a shot and have it work. You pulled that off quite nicely

Thanks Douglas, Birdie, Larry, Tim and Conrad.
The Rose Test Garden in Washington Park is a well-tended spectacle of special rose species. During the (quite long) rose season, it's an amazing place to wander. When you're done, the Japanese Garden is 100 yards away.
I was fortunate with the last image that the roses were pretty much on the same plane, so by positioning my tripod just so and stopping the lens down as far as possible, I got all the flowers in focus. Luck always helps.
