Subject heading says it all really.
Just wondering if anyone knows or has heard about any plans for Samyang to make a 400mm lens or longer? Would be an amazing value, especially if they made a long zoom manual focus with autofocus confirm chip.
I'll go pinch myself now and get back to the real world...

They already do so. In their current line there is 500/8.0 and two mirror types the 500/6.3 and 800/8.0. Their longest zoom is 650-1300mm/8.-16.0 It's a public secret they are working on 400/5.6 as well.

They've had those (very) budget-oriented teles around for a long time. They are not of the same caliber as their newer offerings such as the 85/1.4, 35/1.4, fish, etc.
