p.1 #1 · Anyone try the Phottix Aion?

I'm looking for some way to get more than three frames for HDR on a Canon. Phottix says they can do it (well, maybe they imply they can). Before I buy one I want to hear from someone that actually achieved from 7-9 frames bracketed.
I know there is another system called "Promise" (or something like that), but it seems like its in the $ 300+ range.
Edited: I had the name "Aion" wrong at first, sorry.

I haven't used one, but you may find the answer to your question in the User's Manual:
