p.1 #1 · Orchid Blooming

I have an Orchid that is going to bloom and I want to do a time lapse of it. I've set my camera up to take a shot every 5 minutes I'm thinking that might be to quick. Does anyone have an idea as to how long it should be? Any ideas would be appreciated.

I don’t really know the answer but video is broadcast at ~28/frames Sec. So for one second of video you’ll need ~28 shots. Too few of frames and the video will be choppy. More can give you a slow motion of it opening. Maybe someone that does time lapse will chime in. I think one shot every 5min is not enough. Google time lapse photography of flowers will yield tons of hits.
