For the first time a "red flag option" has jumped up on one of my posts. Do I have to activate the flag in order to make the option disappear?

Brings to mind our fascination with gadgets: megapixels, sensors, glass. New software, menus and displays, etc.

But at the end of the day it all comes down to performance. Precise, sharp and above all, consistent: if Townsend Whelen had been a camera guy he woulda said exactly the same thing, just a little differently

Agree totally: while our brother FM'ers are checking Zeiss in Canon and Nikon mounts I have one in the rare, non-image stabilized O3A3 claw mount sitting above double shutters. The glass is invisible --- maybe 1.0 --- with the focus point well defined by crisp posts rising from 3, 6 and 9. Noting finer --- or more versatile.
