When I transfer the jpeg and RAW files from my V1 to my computer, the jpegs show up as thumbnail photo icons, but the RAW files just show up as NEF icons. I have upgraded my Camera Raw to 6.6 and am running Mac OS 10.6.8. I am using the supplied ViewNX 2 software to do the transfer. Any idea why the RAW files do not show as photo thumbnails like the jpeg files do? Feb 26, 2012 at 03:37 AM

The linked document stated system-wide support for V1 RAW started with OS X 10.7.3. Look for V1 under the list "Supported by OS X Lion v10.7.3".
