I am looking at a camera body, the person dosen't know the shutter count. I know you can get it from the RAW file but not sure how. He sent me the file it just have to figure out the actuations.
Can anyone help me to direct me to where I can get that information?
You don't need a RAW file, the info can also be read from an in-camera JPG. The JPG file must be completely un-modified though (i.e., shouldn't be re-sized or modified any other way). Once you have a high-res JPG file you can load it into any freeware EXIF viewer to view the shutter count. I use PhotoME: http://www.photome.de/
