Love the sunset one. May I suggest a little pp to pull the couple out a little more? Perhaps a curves/levels change to pull them out, and a mask to insure the rest back stays dark.
Just got my X10 a couple of weeks back. Its been years since i owned anything but a DSLR (now running a 5D), so i confess to finding the X10 a bit limiting. I know i'm expecting too much comparing it to a DSLR...
A couple using the macro mode - struggled a bit with this as filling the frame with a butterfly needs the lens to be around 35mm or lower (MFD limitations) and the angle of view is rather wider than my usual butterfly setup.

Let's keep this thread going! I am VERY impressed with this little gem ... although the learning curve is steeper than average, and the camera does have its operational and handling quirks. Still ... it's a sleeper and a keeper. Bought mine just a few days ago. I haven't experienced the "orb" issue yet. My X10 has V1.02 firmware.

Am contemplating getting one of these as a more compact alternative to lugging around the usual SLR...
Some of those low-light shots are amazing. What's the max ISO that's still useable?
You know, I haven't drawn a line on that yet. I like to keep it under ISO3200 but I believe that with good settings and PP, ISO3200 could yield useable images. Certainly 1600 is good.
