I imagine the price has gone down a little since then, so I bet a decent non gripped 5D would probably go for lower $800's - $850. I was also looking pretty hard at the 1Ds2, specifically a low millage one. If I remember, at the time I think I would have been okay with paying somewhere in the $1700-1800 range for one that hadn't been to the moon and back. Feb 17, 2012 at 04:14 PM

Do you shoot 1600 and above all the time? i rather add some fast prime than trade all these great bodies for just 1dx. Unless you want faster frame rate, you know you can get what you need by trading one of them for 5d3. Recently, some canon new cams do good in hi-iso range but so loudsy IQ & DR on their base & low iso which i won't take any chances until 1Dx actually blow everything canon has made for sure. If I dump the 24-70, its only to get the new one. I shoot above 1600 a lot yes. I honestly dont want to take the risk with the 5dII as I am used to 1 series bodies and being able to use all of the focus points. Feb 18, 2012 at 12:45 PM
