The LB-A1 is an Arca-Swiss spacer block that is used with ANY RRS/Kirk/Wimb L-bracket/plate to allow easy cable routing to a camera's communication ports when the user is shooting tethered -- especially if camera is locked to ballhead in portrait orientation.
Also work well when using a QR clamp to hold a camera in a ringflash bracket. Can also be used as a simple 'riser' for a camera - or for 101 other McGyver-esque projects. Moved away from L brackets to bottom plates, so no longer need.
Simple, solid gear that comes in surprisingly handy.
