Cows don't blink , so I reckon it was you.
Looks like a heifer to this city boy. Bet you could have hopped the fence and she'd have taken off for greener pastures .
You may have been going for the "bulls-eye" thing, but if not, perhaps a top and left side crop might strengthen the composition.
Just Cdn $.02 worth of an attempt at humor. I'm giddy because today is Super Bowl Day, and I'm anxious to see all the commercials- which are usually more entertaining than the game (and I'm a football fan).

I like this Steven. The darker gray clouds act as a vignette and the bovine does have a bit of a glow on its coat.

Actually, cows do blink. All mammals blink.
In my experience, some cows are as mean, or meaner than their bull counterparts.
Jump that fence at your own risk.
I like the centered composition. I think it adds to the intensity of the cow's stare.
I think you could crop in a little closer, but so much as to lose the sense of space around the cow.

It's hard to get a good shot of a cow...but that is a good one! Nice work.

I like the low angle shot as well, makes her stand out nicely against the brooding sky

Thanks, Lazlo, not sure if this is a 'she' or a 'he'. Could be a steer I am told.

Maybe if you had gotten a shot from behind, we could tell for sure.
