If there is anything even somewhat noteworthy there, you can bet you could walk through the place with your camera, taking pictures of anything you want, and you wouldn't come home with anything but pictures of runways and airplane hangers.

The "good stuff" would be locked away underground, if any such items exist there.

I think you could probably rent a helicopter for an hour or two to get you a bit closer thus eliminating the need for a really loooong lens.........

Yeah; and you could get some really nice, really close up views of some fighter jets from nearby Nellis AFB.
