p.1 #1 · My First Swim Meet.....

I shot these today at my first ever swim meet. It was fun (although I lost 20lbs sweating).

Took me a bit to get my setting bang on but I got about 50 usable images from the 3 hour event so I am happy with the results.

C&C is always welcome

Very nice Trevor. I don't much look at swimming pics to be honest, but since I saw it was your post I wanted to see if there was anything that would wow me like your hockey stuff. While there wasn't a true WOW! shot, these are still nice and you did a great job with exposure, composition and WB. I like how the water is blue and not green or cyan and yellow. ISO 5000 to get 500 sec. ss , must have been a dark pool room. Nice job though, especially for your first time out.

Billy, thanks for the kind words......

The pool was a bit of a pain in the backside. There were skylights but with the snow we have here in southern Ontario they weren't very bright.....where there were no sky lights the pool was almost BLACK!!!!!!
