Went out to a nearby spot today, but forgot my flash and better beamer...

light was bad with light rain - and the light angle was much less than decent. I almost left the camera in my car, but said... what the heck!

If I had brought my flash, I could have done better... not every day I get a chance to photograph these with what I have... Next time I will bring my flash. The good thing about bad weather is that hardly anyone is out and these birds get closer if one has patience...

The second is a beauty Enrique. Sometimes the soft light works to help you. I’d probably have used a touch of flash.
