Very nice and natural looking. That's the way I see them in the bush, but usually they are too far for a good shot like yours.

An excellent shot with a great exposure Rob. There are some near me in the woods, but every time I strp on dry leaves, they stop pecking and fly off ~ Ron

Very nice. I've never seen a Pileated, must be cool to have them close by (as long as you don't have a cedar house or something and they decide to nest there
