Well these are something different.
Nice to see some macro and I cant recall the last macro BW I have seen, except for flowers.
the first has that interesting glass-like structure and translucency. Interesting.
Second is interesting as well, but a bit harder for me to initially understand. I might crop some from the right to reduce some distraction from the bright leaf.

Thanks all. Agree with you, Scott, I don't recall seeing much macro work done in BW either; just an idea I had. I really enjoy BW and wondered how some of my shots from the past season would look converted.
