This was a kind of fun shot. This little guy was laying there with his brother and the two of them were lusting over a small herd of cape buffalo that was about 100m away -- no way they coudl do anything . We sat with them for a while and they didn't do much so we started moving closer by zig-zagging the Land Rover towards them. The one brother got up and moved into the scrub brush, but this guy let us get to within about 3m. He was pretty curious about what we were up to. It was an open Land Rover, so had no doors. Shot was take using a right angle adapter on the D300S -- leaning over the side of the car and down as far as I could get and then reaching down to within about quarter meter of the ground.
