p.1 #1 · 1D 2N SDHC ?

I have the last firmware update and am using a 8gb SDHC but can't find any info that tells me if I can use larger capacity cards?

I tried a 16mp Sandisk 30mps hd video card in my 1Ds2 and it works OK, I would think it would in your cam too

with the later firmware SDHC is fine . I dont think there is an upper limit (in the real world) to the size you can use . not so sure about SDXC though.

I use 16g SDHC in my 1D2n, no problem. Never thought about not being able to use it.

I use 16GB SDHC in my 1D2 and 1Ds2 -- no problems.

Thank you for the info. I found that with the firmware update it would recognize 4 & 8gb cards but didn't say anything about larger cards. Thought maybe it was because it was long enough ago that larger cards weren't readily available. Good to know.

That was my thought as well when considering 32GB cards for my 1Ds MkII (which by the way came out before the 1D MkIIn).

I just inserted the 32GB SDHC card in my 1D MkII and the camera recognizes the card - estimating ~2940 shots (varies slightly depending on ISO set).

My sd card is slower then the cf at emptying the buffer I use it as a backup or a one shot situation only. No fast fps...Rich
