Had to drive 4 hrs. but found a Snowy.

Eric, this was the Merrill Creek Reservoir, in NJ.
Been there a while, quite predictable, so I thought worth the drive.
Found her within 30 minutes of getting there.
I've been looking other places closer to home, but they are moving around, so hard to find.

Real nice pics Mark and the snowy is looking very well set against the rocks.
Well worth the drive. Hey I flew from Europe to get mine and then only got one on top of a tall pole

I know the excitement of seeing a new bird, especially a snowy owl! I saw mine for the first time this year too.

I like the second more, but I wish the bird wasn't dead centre in the photo. Would've been better offset to the right more.
