Ventured over to Sanibel Island today to the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge for the first time and what a fabulous place it is! Guess I was too excited and forgot that one of my cameras was set on jpeg only on the first 3 shots but at least got the last 2 in raw.....

Good job on the whites with the Wood Stork and Ibis! Nice to see the Reddish Egret in breeding colors...

Thanks for the picks...I have taken too much time off with the camera and got a little rusty with my techniques for sure....should have plenty of subjects to get back on track with now though.....

i like them all but my girlfriend who is watching over my shoulder really likes the spoonbill! never made it to that refuge, but someday.......

Hey Jim what ever happened to all those tiny birds you used to photograph

Spent a few days long ago on Captiva at a stunning home, boy do I miss that! Looks like you are in the land of opportunity buddy, enjoy it!
#3 is a cool image and a great exposure. Like Tim I see a few crooked ones so keep a check on those 'tilt'
