I had some time to kill before church services this morning, so I took a detour into Eden Gardens State Park near the church in what is know as Point Washington in Walton County, Florida. I took my obligatory shots of the Camelia - they are gorgeous this time of year, then I spotted this park bench in the fog a little off the beaten path. I welcome your comments.
If this sounds like I am rubbing it in...well, I am. The temperature here has been in the 70's all day, and at almost 10:00 this evening it is still in the upper 60s. Even for the Florida Panhandle this is not normal. I keep waiting for the Arctic blast to hit, but so far we are still walking around in shorts. I am not complaining, but it does seem strange.
Thanks, everyone, for your comments. I apologize for not having commented on the many wonderful images posted this week, but the hard drive in my 5-year-old Mac Pro seems to be on its way out, so I have been scrambling to get that rectified before it goes out completely. Hopefully, I will be back soon.
