So the other day I took a canon 50mm 1.8 and an old canon FD 50mm and taped them together. For lighting I used a reading lamp. Most shots were in the f10-20 range with 5-15 sec exposures. This was my first time taking macro photos and I was pretty happy with the result. Any tips/advice would be appreciated.
Some nice shots there Brandon. Very good with the setup and long exposures. Like the first fern shot and second $20 shot most.
Only tip would be to try and achieve the same level of results with flash now to make it more portable and open up other subject opportunities. And try to shoot the insects while alive!
