And Harold, the jumper doesn't have pale eyes--what you're seeing is a reflection/refraction caused by the flash

The bark louse is a highlight of the trip so far

. Totally different from what I've seen elsewhere.

Lighting has always been a pain, trying to find a diffusion setup that holds up in the jungle and in my pack while traveling. This is basically a dismantled Lumiquest III that I cut up and sewed back together to fit onto the twin flash. It works very well during the night, but during the day I'm still seeing a lot of harsh highlights despite bringing down the flash power, sometimes significantly.
