Oh my. Both of you guys have come so stinking far in such a short time. Man, these are good. I hope they get a bunch of comments, too. But for now, here are mine:
1 - Chuck's a class act, opening up with Doug's pictures.
2 - one of the few times, I think tilt works nicely.
3 - I love the symmetry and light in this one.
4 - Cool Chuck framing.
6 & 7, I might just pick one of these to show, but honestly can't decide which one. I think maybe 6, even though I do like negative space.
8 - Awesome. I bet you didn't even move the mirrors, did you?
10 - Wow, so many layers and framing. You've gotten soo good at waiting for just the right time to click.
11 - Man you managed to get everybody perfectly separated. And nice thought to stop down and get everything in focus. Your deliberate thought into shots really shows.
12 - I know it's been done before, but it's always cool. Love the lady on the right staring you down.
13 - Nice light.
15 - Classy.
16 - Yes, love that wide angle and again with the symmetry
18 - You know so often people say too centered, but you know just how to do it.
19 - Love the feel of this one.
20 - Fantastic, your conversion really shines here, that sky looks so sweet.
23 - Really nice catch. Maybe a little too much headroom? I gotta find something to nit pick, since all I've done is praise ;-)
24 - More Doug centered goodness.
25 - Now that's an emotional shot. More exceptional timing.
30 - Love the lines of the beams and the comp with the bride and father just in a little of the frame. This is classic Chuck, right there.
32 - Really nice. Too bad all the people are looking at them. It would have been cool if the others were kinda doing their own thing and the B&G were in their own little world.
34 - 40, you've gotten good at the dragging. I like it.
43 - Gotta admit I laughed a little. She looks like she could open a serious can on somebody.
45 - Maybe not my favorite shot, but that sky and tree sure are cool.
Anyway, I know I sound like a total brown noser, but this is totally the style I'd love to be able to do, so I get a little too into your posts.
The BW conversion. Yeah, it's perfect.
