p.1 #1 · Nikon 35mm f1.8 - A lot of bang for not a lot of buck!

Some shots taken yesterday with the tiny weeny 35mm f1.8. This was the first lens I bought when I got the D7000 and for the money, its light weight, build quality, and small size this lens really delivers! Both shots SOOC, no PP at all apart from crop. Sharp or what!!

When working at large apertures it's very easy to miss your focal point, lol

I kinda like the shot anyway.

I'm sure you'll agree that this lens is incredibly sharp. If image quality is what you need but your don't have stacks of cash to spend you these little primes will really impress you.

And another shot SOOC. Just look at how sharp the plant is and check out that pleasing circular Bokeh. Nikon 35mm f1.8 = WIN.

congrats on a wonderful purchase!I bought my 35mm f1.8 approximately 2 years ago as my first lens to replace the 18-55mm kit, I'v loved it ever since!

It's a very nice little lens. I was very impressed with it's flare resistance when I used one.

Replaced my 35 1.8 with the 40G and have been very happy. Both lenses excel on the d7k
