Just a thought...it is possible to buy refillable carts for this printer...and good quality 3rd party bulk supply ink..via the internet.

This would be a lot cheaper and a lot more convenient....

If Newegg has them just do will call. For me, they're just over the hill, for you... not sure (City of Industry)

Alternately, UPS ground is usually about 1-2 days from newegg if you're in LA.

you can pick it up from Newegg store directly from city of industry. I did my last min shopping on their site and had some one to pick it up for me and ship to me overnight. if you are in LA, chances are you can follow the same steps.
of if you want to totally get rid of such hassle, non-OEM inks with refillable system is one of the options. check out the following sites
