Haven't seen one of these places in years. They're long gone from my area.
The first pic is best IMO. I just wish I could see the rest of the sign.

I also really like the first image- Nice composition and tells a good little story.
Also have to agree with MrChile about the "punch line." But then- not seeing it adds a slight touch of mystery...? Nah

, I'd rather see the last word(s).

Really like the old barn photo.
One of those occasions where centering the subject makes a strong composition.
The subtle jet trails are an added bonus ! Did you arrange that??

Yeah, I wanted all of the sign also, but my camera was right up against a chain link fence, which had fallen over the sign, keeping me from getting the whole thing. Hope that makes sense.
