Jobs, that is.

Looking at my new Nikon wireless remote control...wouldn't it be great if it had a loop so you could hang it around your neck...or attach it to a belt loop...so it couldn't get lost?

Called it an iController
Painted it white.
Changed the release button to a touch screen
and
Made the battery non user replaceable and charged $69 to change it.

Hired 17 lawyers more.

Sued Canon for using a "similar, rectangular and dark-colored device with a flat front and a large button centered towards one end of the rectangle".
Demanded a total cease and desist, and a full sales embargo for the Canon product for the duration of the trial, a trial which will cost Canon 20M$ that they could have spent on making better cameras.

Yes, then 3 months later all the "wanna be" clones would arrive on the market forcing the
inevitable release of the iController II.
