Of course "both" is the best answer, but you clearly don't want to spend close to $4K, so you might consider the zoom + the 85/1.8. As much as I like the 1.2L, the 1.8 will get you a lot of the buttery bokeh you'll be missing from the zoom. I firmly believe that the 1.2L MKII is an overall better lens than the 1.8 (so don't open that can of worms), but the 1.8 isn't a slouch and will make up for much of what you lose taking the zoom-only option.
