I didn't realize gitzospares was across the pond originally. I'll call manfrotto in NJ first and see what they say.

BTW @jzucker there is no import duty for still camera parts/equipment coming in to the US.

I paid import duties to bring a japanese lens I purchased in singapore into the USA so I think you might be mistaken.

However, there may not be duties coming from Italy. Not sure about that.

At any rate, I ordered the parts from NJ, USA.

I might be wrong, but I think the distinction he's making is parts vs. finished goods.

I finally got a schematic from gitzo today (reply to my email).In any event, I had ordered the parts from manfrotto earlier in the week. Hopefully they arrive before the weekend.
