p.1 #1 · Resize image in LR3

Seeking advice on resizing image from LR3. Shoot RAW. Have request for image to be submitted as 1920x1920 pixels, baseline standard jpeg, and limit to 1.8MB. Having difficulty and would appreciate your comments!

Select your image in LR and go to File->Export

In export options, under image resizing check off the 'resize to fit' box. Select 1920 as the size on the long edge.

Under the 'File Settings' tab, make sure JPG is selected and check off the "Limit file size to" box, enter 1800 as the value.

A JPG of the appropriate size should appear whether you specified the output folder to be.

- Change the aspect ratio in the crop tool to 1:1 (it's standard at "original") and crop your image to your own wishes;
- Choose "Export..." in the "File" menu, set the format to "jpg" under "File Settings" tab, put a checkmark in front of "Limit File Size To" and enter 1800 in the field behind it (it's in Kb instead of Mb) and lastly set the dimensions to 1920x1920 under the "Image Sizing" tab.
- Press export and there you go!
