Very nice set... very few people get the chance to photograph wild tigers... it looks like you made the most of your opportunities. I particularly like the reflected tiger and believe that you could push your processing a bit and make some really special out of that image.
cheers,

Awesome set, the Tiger shots are stunning. Nice work.
Thanks. Recently, the Indian Supreme Court has imposed a temporary ban on tourism around the 'core' areas in the Tiger reserves. If there are less eyes and ears in the National Parks, the poachers will have a freer hand to kill the Tigers with almost no impunity.

I feel your pain! Knowing what the light is like in the tiger reserves I think you just have to be incredibly lucky or have an unlimited amount of time to capture those crisp, close, low ISO shots that we dream about. Saying that, I think you did a fine job and when you realize the vast majority of people never even see a tiger on their safari, consider yourself one of the lucky ones. The kingfisher and owl shots are very nice as is the running boar image.

Thanks Eric. I am now equipped with the Canon EOS-1D X camera, with its superior high ISO noise performance. Take a look at my Blog post on this subject.

Nicely done despite the conditions...it's all about the adventure anyway! Benzzene
Thanks. Mercifully, the Indian Supreme Court has lifted the ban on Tiger tourism and I am going back next Spring for another safari. Hope to get better lighting this time but the heat can be a problem.
